Hi, I’m Hadiya, the stylist and owner of Silk & Slated Studio. I help women look and feel their best through healthy hair care, beautiful styles, and results that last. With over eight years of experience working with textured hair, I specialize in silk presses, extensions, and protective services that enhance your natural beauty while supporting hair health. My goal is to give every client a style they love and an experience where they feel seen, comfortable, and confident. The name Silk & Slated reflects my mission: “Silk” represents the smooth, soft, luxurious results you leave with. “Slate” symbolizes giving every woman a fresh new slate a moment to reset, renew, and step confidently into the best version of herself. Every appointment is approached with care, technique, and attention to detail so you walk out feeling refreshed, polished, and ready to take on the world. Your hair is your crown. I’m here to help you wear it proudly. ⸻ Consultations Required A consultation must be booked before scheduling any: • Microlinks • K-tips • Braidless Weft Sew-ins • Tape-ins Consultations ensure we select the best method for your hair health and results. ⸻ Extensions All extension services are performed using DreamCatchers-certified methods, ensuring safe application, seamless blends, and long-lasting, natural movement. Methods offered include: K-Tips, Microlinks, Braidless Weft Sew-Ins, and Tape-Ins. ——— Shampoo Services Shampoo is not included with any braiding and Jah loc services. It may be added on for an additional fee at booking. ⸻ Payment Policy Payments are accepted only through the GlossGenius booking site or cash. ❌ No Cash App, Venmo, or Apple Pay. ——— Timing & Quality Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Early arrivals may not be accommodated, as I may be with another client or preparing the space. I take pride in my craft and do not rush any service. Please avoid scheduling anything immediately after your appointment, as service times may run slightly over to ensure the best results. ⸻ Late Arrivals There is a 10-minute grace period. After 10 minutes, a $20 late fee will be applied. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on the service. ——— Before appointment Please arrive with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise stated in your service prep instructions. There will be a $45 fee if not properly detangled. Refrain from booking if you are sick or feeling unwell. Respectful communication and punctuality are expected and appreciated. ⸻ Cancellations & No-Shows • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 50% of the service total. • No-shows will be charged 100% and may be blocked from future booking. Communication is key — if anything changes, please reach out as soon as possible. ⸻ 🚫 Guests & Children To maintain a peaceful and professional environment: • No extra guests or children are allowed unless being serviced.
